Echoes, a documentary series for Moto G

Client: Motorola, Moto G
Where: São Paulo, Madrid, Tokyo
Agency: MATTER+ENERGY
Year: 2025
Scope: Platform, Documentary series, Global premiere, Activations, Content system

Nobody joins a scene alone. Someone asks them in.

Moto G is Motorola’s most accessible phone, and competing on more features for a better price only goes so far. G had to make Gen Z across Latin America, Europe and Asia want it, and want their friends to have it too.

Every artist has a crew that saw them first: the friends at the first gig, holding the ladder, sharing the post. So for Moto G, accessible came to mean a way in. The phone the whole crew carries.

Echoes follows three real creators, shot with their real friends. The phone lives in the background of their lives: tossed, passed around, knocked off an amp, dropped in a sink, then used again.

All episodes premiered globally at the same time, anchored by a live screening in Madrid. QR codes opened each story further: a playlist by Le Nomad, routes shared by Kazane, fashion collaborations, and a gallery show of the work Rafaella made during the shoot.
